Ethical hacking
Ethical hacking, also known as penetration testing or white-hat hacking, involves intentionally probing computer systems, networks, or applications to discover security vulnerabilities that could be exploited by malicious hackers. Unlike black-hat hackers, ethical hackers are authorized to conduct these tests and work to improve the security posture of the organizations they assist.
